A man miraculously survived after a double-glazed window from an apartment fell on his head while he was eating in a bar in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo. This unusual case, which could have ended tragically, happened on the night of Saturday, December 13, but the video was only released this Thursday. The video shows the moment the double-glazed window fell, making it a lethal weapon when dropped from a height. Immediately, personnel from the 14B Neighborhood Police Station went to the café, located at 300 Ciudad de la Paz Street in Palermo, which had immediately alerted the SAME (Emergency Medical Service), according to police sources confirmed to the Argentine News Agency. At the scene, doctors treated the injured man, a 50-year-old, for a cut wound on his left forearm and head, with no life-threatening risk. Following the operation, City Firefighters went up to the apartment from which the window had detached. The apartment was vacant because the owner lives in the province of Córdoba, but the building supervisor had the keys, allowing them to enter. As a precaution against a similar incident, the Firefighters removed the other glass pane that remained in the window. The North Flagrancy Unit, led by Amanda Berstein, is handling the case and is investigating what happened to the window and the reason it fell.
